Enthralled by the production process and practically living in the studio, we thrive on the impact that daring music and sound can have on any audience. Founded by David Helpling in 1998 we create original music for all forms of visual media. We believe in our clients and embrace every story or push - making it our own. From our loyal corporate clients, to the film and gaming majors, we understand what every project needs, how far we can go beyond what is expected and the importance of timeliness. We have written and produced music for award-winning independent films, national television shows and number one selling video game titles. DHM has been featured in magazines such as POST and MIX and has been consulted by developers of new technology in music applications.

David is also an established ambient/electronic recording artist. In addition to his successful solo releases he teamed up with fellow artist Jon Jenkins for the 2007 acclaimed release “Treasure.” An ambitious follow-up album is in the final stages of production and is slated for release this year. On the side David is a writer/reviewer for Audio Media Magazine in the UK and US covering emerging technologies in the field of Audio Post Production and Music for Picture.
